Gigiddy is a platform connecting gig-goers, artists, and venues by listing and promoting live events.
3507.co.uk
The Platform enables artists and venues to publish event listings and enables gig-goers to discover those events. Features include account creation, profile management for artists/venues, publishing event details (time, date, location), and viewing public listings.
Artists can also add gigs by speaking them aloud instead of typing, message venues directly, and apply to gig requests that verified venues post; venues can post those requests and reply to applicants. Gig-goers can save gigs, follow artists and venues, and set up alerts for the kind of gigs they want to hear about. Notices reach you by email and, where you switch them on, by browser push notification.
To help you discover gigs in your local area, we may request your location via browser geolocation. This is entirely optional — you can use the Platform without it by typing a town or postcode instead. Once you choose a location we remember it on your device so the app opens where you are; if you set up a gig alert we also save an approximate location against that alert so we can email you matching gigs. How this is stored and for how long is set out in our Privacy Policy.
The Platform includes levels and progress earned through using it. These are a bit of fun to encourage activity: they carry no monetary value, cannot be exchanged or transferred, and we may adjust how they are earned or displayed at any time.
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- You create an account with a valid email and secure password. You keep your credentials confidential and remain responsible for activity on your account.
- Users under 18 may sign up. Parents/guardians may contact us to request account removal.
- We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts where we reasonably believe the Terms are breached or misuse occurs.
Users must not upload or publish illegal, offensive, misleading, or infringing content. The Platform primarily accepts structured inputs for event information (time, date, location) and artist/venue profile details (name, image, bio) and allows Spotify embeds.
It also accepts free-text notes on listings, direct messages between users, gig requests from venues and applications from artists. Messages must not be used for harassment, abuse, spam or unsolicited marketing. We may review message content where we need to investigate a report, enforce these Terms, or comply with the law.
You warrant you have the rights to any content you submit and that it is accurate and lawful. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute your submitted content on the Platform for the purpose of operating and promoting listings.
Artists and venues are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of their listings. We remove incorrect or misleading listings and block or suspend users who persistently post fake gigs or breach these Terms.
Venues are verified by us before they can post gig requests. Verification confirms only that we have reviewed the account; it is not a guarantee about the venue, its premises, or any booking made through it, and we may refuse or withdraw it at any time.
- Some features use automated systems, including third-party AI services, to save you typing — for example turning a recording of you listing your gigs into draft gig details.
- Automated output can be wrong. Anything produced this way is a draft. You review and confirm every gig before it publishes, and you remain responsible for what appears on your listing.
- Record your own voice only. Do not record other people without their permission, and do not submit audio you do not have the right to use.
- Fair use applies. Recordings are capped in length and in how many you can make each day so the feature stays available to everyone; we may change those limits or withdraw the feature.
- Your microphone is used only while a recording is running, and only if your browser grants permission. Typing your gigs in does exactly the same job.
- We are not a party to arrangements between users, including attendance, bookings, payments, or any venue policies. That includes anything arranged through gig requests, applications or messages — fees, cancellations and conduct at the event are between you and the other party.
- We are not responsible for event cancellations, postponements, refunds, or any third-party content or services (including Spotify embeds).
- We rely on third-party providers to run parts of the Platform: Stripe (payments), Google (maps and place information) and OpenAI (speech-to-text and text processing). Using features built on them is also subject to their terms.
- Third-party services you use through links or embeds operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
- We send transactional emails (e.g., account, security, and operational notices).
- We send reminder emails to artists and venues to promote and manage gigs.
- We send marketing newsletters to gig-goers where they consent; recipients can unsubscribe at any time.
- Where you switch on browser push notifications, we send gig and account notices to that device. You can turn them off in your browser or in your settings at any time.
- Paid plans are available to artists. The price and the billing cycle are shown at checkout before you pay, and the plan renews automatically at that price until you cancel.
- We use Stripe to take payment. By paying on the Platform you also agree to Stripe’s terms and policies. We never receive your card details — the card fields are Stripe’s and the card goes straight to them.
- You can cancel at any time from your settings. Cancelling stops the next payment and ends your paid features straight away — we do not run the plan on to the end of the period you’ve paid for, and that part-month is not refunded. If you’d rather keep the features you’ve paid for, cancel near the end of your billing period.
- If a renewal payment fails, the paid features switch off and the account returns to the free plan. You can subscribe again whenever you like.
- We may change plan prices or what a plan includes. Changes apply from your next billing period, and we’ll tell you before they take effect.
- None of the above affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including any right to cancel or to a refund where the law gives you one.
Unless expressly stated, we do not sell tickets and we do not handle entry, capacity, or on-site policies. For any issues with an event (including cancellations, rescheduling, or refunds), you contact the relevant venue, promoter, or ticketing provider.
All Platform software, branding, and design elements are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You must not copy, reverse engineer, or exploit the Platform except as permitted by law or by written permission.
- We suspend, restrict, or terminate access where we reasonably believe there is a breach of these Terms, risk to users, unlawful activity, or platform abuse.
- You can delete your account yourself, from your profile settings. It is immediate and permanent — we can’t undo it or get your gigs back afterwards. If you’d rather we did it, email support@gigiddy.co.uk.
- Venue owners: deleting your account removes your account and your ownership of the venue, but a venue that has been named and has gigs against it stays on the site as a public listing, unlinked from you. That's deliberate — otherwise every artist who played there would lose that gig from their history, and nobody at the venue could claim it again. A venue you never finished setting up is deleted with the account.
- Cancelling a paid plan and deleting your account are separate things. Deleting your account does not by itself refund anything already paid.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and conditions. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, loss of profits, data loss, or business interruption arising from your use of the Platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
These Terms are governed by English law. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform.
We update these Terms when we introduce new features, comply with law, or improve clarity. We notify users of material changes and continue to display the current version on this page with the date above.
